Project Manager

Job Location: US (remote)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Initiate and facilitate project kick-off and inception activities. 
  • Coach and Mentor other Scrum Masters to encourage consistent, core best practices across the teams. 
  • Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the Scrum teams and third parties, release managers, or between the Scrum teams. 
  • Exhibits a desire to continuously learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies from teams and the Agile community. 
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams. 
  • Develop and deliver formal presentations and training programs to end users, project teams, management teams, and executive management. 
  • Interact seamlessly with both business and project teams. 
  • Facilitate discussions that lead to the resolution of project issues and development impediments. 
  • Report project progress to Program Management and executive-level stakeholders 
  • Manage shared resources across multiple projects. 
  • Ensure all proper training and user documentation has been implemented. 
  • Need working knowledge and understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery. 
  • Exhibit a desire to continuously improve and shows a track record of improvement. 
  • Communicate openly and frequently with stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding the state of the project. 
  • Actively contribute to the company’s Agile and Lean Community through participation in the internal Agile Community of Practice and Scrum Master Forums. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience  Must be able to communicate well with diverse teams and executive-level stakeholders from the business in both verbal and written communications. 
  • Must be able to coordinate and lead Scrum meetings, team discussions, and Scrum of Scrums. 
  • Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business and Program Management to grow business trust. 
  • Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches. 
  • Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls. 
  • Must continually be growing one’s craft and learning new tools and techniques to manage yourself and a team. 
  • Must be able to lead a self-organization team. 
  • Proven ability to drive teams to success using Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean practices 
  • Salesforce project management experience
