Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) graduates to join our team as Junior Salesforce Developers. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for CDAC candidates to kickstart their careers in Salesforce development. As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with our experienced team to design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions tailored to meet our organization’s needs. This role requires a strong foundation in software development concepts, a passion for technology, and a willingness to learn and grow in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized institution, with a CDAC certification.
Strong understanding of software development concepts and familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and development environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to grow and develop skills in Salesforce development.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) are a plus but not required for this entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce platform
Assist in customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
Participate in the configuration of Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builder.
Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality of code and application functionality.
Support system integration efforts by assisting in the design and implementation of APIs, data migrations, and third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by end-users, providing timely resolutions and support.
Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
Document technical specifications, code, and configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability of applications.
Contribute to team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Adhere to coding standards, development methodologies, and version control practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in development workflows.
